Lovely Peace Day
We have celebrated Peace Day this week.In 2001 the countries of the United Nations adopted the day and declared it a day of global ceasefire and non-violence and over the yesrs since then it has become more widely known.Ourteacher has taught how to be good friends.Have good friends makes you happy.Being a good friend is not a skill that kids just pick up from hanging out with other children on the playground.Developing friendships takes a lot of work.In class we have helped out when a friend is sad or has a problem,wehave spent time together,we have shared our books and toys and finally we have had fun with one another.
